What Lexly collects

• Photos you capture or choose. When you take a photo or pick one from your library, Lexly processes it to find the object’s edges, cut it out as a sticker and suggest its name.
• The words you keep. Stickers, their names, explanations, where you say you found them, and how your reviews went.
• Your language choices. The language you think in and the one you’re learning.
• Account details, if you create an account. Your email address and what’s needed to keep your shelf with your account.
• Usage counts. How many free captures you’ve used this month.

How your photos are used

To cut the object out and name it, the photo you choose may be sent to our servers for processing. We use it only to create your sticker and its word, and we don’t use your photos to build profiles or for advertising.

Lexly only asks for camera and photo library access when you use them, and you can turn either off in iOS Settings.

Where your shelf lives

If you use Lexly without an account, your shelf is saved on your iPhone only. Deleting the app deletes it. If you create an account, your shelf is stored with it so you can keep it.

Sharing

We don’t sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Lexly, like hosting and image processing, and only so they can do that work for us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Your choices

• Peel any sticker off your shelf to delete it.
• Turn off camera or photo access in iOS Settings.
• Ask us for a copy of your data, or to delete your account and everything in it, by writing to support@lexly.world.

Children

Lexly isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top and tell you in the app when the change matters.
